Ralph Leach October 18, 1922 - April 18, 2008
Ralph Leach, 85, a resident of New Palestine, IN passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield.
He retired from Western Electric after 30 years of service as a machinist. He was a member of the Burge Terrace Baptist Church, Indianapolis. He loved gardening and the outdoors. He was a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie (Spears) Leach of New Palestine; daughters, Carolyn (Eddie) Lyon of New Palestine, Barbara (Jim) Slone of New Palestine, Sheila (Charlie) Holliday of Greenfield; seven grandchildren, Jill (Shane) Ailey, Jennifer ("Charlie" Matt) Agee, Jim Jr. (Kary) Slone, David (Nichole) Lyon, Andrew (Sherri) Lyon, Stephanie Holliday and Emily Holliday; nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Eugene; sister, Belva; brothers, Delbert, Roy, and Raymond Leach.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may call Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
