Ralph Carrol Leisure Iii

Ralph Carrol Leisure III, 76, Greenfield, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Morristown Manor with his family by his side. Ralph was born on March 9, 1945, in Indianapolis to the late Betty Jean (Parmley) and Carrol Leisure, Jr. He is a 1963 graduate of Greenfield Central High School. Ralph proudly served in the U.S. National Guard. He worked as a laborer in the automotive industry for many years before retiring. While his boys were growing up, he supported them in their sporting events. That support overflowed into years and years of rooting on Greenfield Central's wrestling and basketball teams. Ralph is a very proud attendee of the Indy 500, with 55 years of attendance. He collected and drove his beloved street rods. He cherished his time with his boys, his grandchildren, and his friends, and will be missed by all. Ralph is survived by his two loving sons, Alva Leisure and Grant (Jenny) Leisure as well as his two wonderful grandchildren, Ashlynn Leisure and Ezra Leisure. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 12noon until 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, with the service immediately following. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Greenfield, where Ralph will be laid to rest next to his father.
