Randall Joseph Hian

Randall Joseph Hian, 55, Rushville, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, with his beloved family by his side. Randy was born on May 31, 1968, in Indianapolis, to Ronald Edward and Martha Ann (Crudgington) Hian, Sr. Randy was a 1986 graduate of New Palestine High School. He attended Vincennes University and later graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in behavioral health.

Randy was a tremendously loving son, brother, uncle, coworker, and friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Randy was an avid Raider's fan, could be constantly heard blasting his favorite musical band of Judas Priest, and embraced his friends with all his heart. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Indiana Iota Chapter. Randy was a proud member of the Way Out Club in Greenfield, celebrating 25 years of sobriety. Randy currently worked for Community Health, Shelby County, as a mental health clinician for over 10 years.

He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Sharon Douglass; brother, Russell Hian; sister-in-law, Michelle Hian; loving nieces and nephew, Anastasia Dougherty, Miguel Alejos, and Sonia Napariu; great-nephew, Nathan Dougherty; great-niece, Elise Dougherty; and countless friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Hian, Sr.; mother, Martha Hian; brother, Ronny Hian; and beloved dogs, Bailey and Bella.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is assisting the Hian family during their loss. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date and time.
