Reba Ann (Loomis) Jacobs, 88, Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at her residence. She was born on February 22, 1935, in Point Pleasant, WV, to Joseph Vernon and Norma May (Fruth) Loomis.
Reba was a tremendously loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Reba was a home maker, but also had another title of professional spoiler to her children and grandchildren. She loved her flower gardens. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, Beech Grove branch.
Reba is survived by her loving children: Peggy (James) Blackburn, Jack Jacobs, Jr., and Cathy (Rick) Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Jacobs, Sr.; son, Carl Jacobs; grandchildren: James L. "Butchie" Blackburn, Jr., Jack Jacobs III, Richard N. Brinker, and Joshua S. Jacobs; and 5 siblings.
Friends and family may gather in Stillinger Family Funeral Home's parking lot, 11636 East Washington Street, at 11:30 a.m. and proceed to the cemetery together, on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 11:45 a.m. at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
