Rebecca Sowder

Rebecca (Hook) Sowder, age 36 of Indianapolis passed away October 27, 2018 at her home. She was born June 3, 1982 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert Sowder and Mary Tomlin. Rebecca loved being a Mom. She enjoyed writing, softball and singing (although she was not very good at it). Becky was a graduate of Greenfield Central High School in 2000 and received her bachelors degree in criminal justice from Ball State University. Becky will be missed by her parents listed above; fiancee, Harold Carter; sons, Tyler Hook and Owen Carter; brothers, Josh(Kendra) Sowder, Jess (Trina) Sowder; step sister, Shanna (Bill) Joseph; step mom, Kay Sowder; nieces and nephews, Bryce, Maci, Ethan and Isabella; aunts and uncles; Trish (Steve) Russell, Paul (Dottie) LeCount, Suzanne Hasl, Nancy LeCount and Calvin (Brenda) Sowder. She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, step dad, Bob Tomlin and 6 aunts and uncles. A memorial visitation will be noon until 2 pm, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
