Rene Kindell

Rene "Ron" Kindell January 9, 1953 - November 9, 2006 Rene "Ron" Kindell of New Palestine, formerly of Pittsboro, passed away on Thursday November 9, 2006 at Community Hospital East after a short but valiant struggle with lung cancer at the age of 53. He was born January 9, 1953 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and is the son of Frank and Zoe Painter. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and retired from Allison Transmission in June of this year. Ron loved to ride his Harley Davidson and was a devoted family man. He attended St Michaelss Catholic Church and was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Ron was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents of Sulphur Springs; wife, Diane (Burnell) Kindell whom he married June 17, 1988; son, Adam Rene Kindell both of New Palestine; brother, Frank Hubbell of Dayton, OH; sisters, Jacquie Glasscoe of Springtown, TX, Susie Wilkinson of Greenville, OH, Laura Moore of FL; nieces, Kelly Arnold, Tiffany Callaway; nephews, Kaleb Arnold and Shawn Hubbell. Funeral service will be 10 am Monday November 13, 2006 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Burial will follow at Williams Creek Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may call 2-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Humane Society or American Lung Association.
