Richard "Craig" Polston, 62 years, a resident of Maxwell died Sunday, December 22, 2024 at his home. He was born May 2, 1962 in Greenfield, Indiana to Richard E. and Jane (Davis) Polston.
Craig was known as a gentle giant that enjoyed his family, collecting knives, fishing, camping and spending time with his mastiff Remington. He and his wife, Deb enjoyed driving and viewing the countryside on beautiful days. He graduated from Greenfield Central in 1981, worked for Formica and was a member of the Tri-State Gas Engine & Tractor Association, Portland, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah "Deb" (Probst) Polston who he married on November 21, 1987, father, Richard Polston, father-in-law, Eugene Probst, brother, Wayne (Lil) Polston, brother-in-law, Ed (Rhonda) Probst, sister-in-law, Janet Dodd, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother listed above and mother-in-law, Serena Probst.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, December 30, 2024, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December, 31, 2024, at the funeral with burial to follow at Hurst Cemetery, Homer, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Humane Society, 214 E. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana.
