Richard L Knose

Richard L. Knose, age 85 of Greenfield, IN went to be with his wife on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice in Greenfield. He was born on October 10, 1931 in Hagerstown, IN to the late Clarence and Mabel (Hardwick) Knose. Richard married the love of his life Ernestine Favorite on December 2, 1950 in New Castle, IN. He would spend his career working for the Ford Motor Company as a Tool Cutter/Grinder from 1957 until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed mowing, concrete work, watching Boxing, Nascar, and Football. Surviving Richard are his sons, John R. Knose of Greenfield; Ronald J. (Vickie) Knose of Greenfield; Richard L. (Linda) Knose of Rising Sun, IN; Larry Knose of Greenfield; daughters, Geraldine (Stan) Pelletier; Terri (Ron) Bailes of Bloomville, OH; Brenda S. (Butch) McPherson of Greenfield; Debra J. Kirby of Nashville, NC; and Melinda E. (Ron) Johnson of Grayson, KY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a little angel Vivian. Preceding him in death are his parents listed above; wife Ernestine Knose; son, David E. Knose; and several brothers. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the funeral home with Chaplain Katherine Murray officiating. Burial will follow the service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
