Richard L. Shively August 18, 1928 - November 28, 2011 Richard L. Shively, age 83 years, a resident of Ft. Wayne, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born August 18, 1928 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Jesse and Katherine (Egolf) Shively. He was a graduate of Greenfield High School and worked for his father at Shively Dairy until enlisting into the US Air Force where he spent 4 years. He later owned his own delivery route with Saps Foods for 27 years and was later employed with Greenfield Central Schools in janitorial services. He was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church, former member of the Greenfield Lions Club, a 50 year plus member of Hancock Lodge 101, F & A M, was an avid sports fan and Greenfield Central sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Smith) Shively of Ft. Wayne, daughters, Teresa "Terry" (Michael) Arnold of Greenfield, Kris (Jay) Fawver of Ft. Wayne, sons, Mark (Jennie) Shively of Indianapolis, Matthew K. Shively of Indianapolis, brother Leonard Shively of Greenfield, grandchildren, Dana Hart, Brandon Arnold, Katie Arnold, Jeanette Cochran, Vanessa Fawver, Bryan Shively, great grandchildren, Mary Jane and Leo Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and brothers, Gerald, Franklin, Edward and Robert. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be sent to: Mental Health America Hancock County, 98 E. North Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
