Richard Stephens

Richard Lee Stephens Jr., age 49 of Greenfield, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born on December 5, 1967 in Greenfield to Richard & Phyllis (DeJarnett) Stephens. Richard graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 1986 and would later serve in the United States Airforce. He spent his career working for United Airlines as an Aviation Mechanic. Richard enjoyed Fishing, Camping, Hunting, Indiana Fever Basketball and being active in Boy Scouts as Troop Leader. Richard loved his family and was especially proud of his two boys. Surviving Richard are his parents mentioned above; sons, Cory and Jesse Stephens of Greenfield; sister, Felicia (Jeff) Frazier of Greenfield; and niece, Sami "Payge" Frazier of Greenfield. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield with military rites presented by the United States Airforce & Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
