Richard V. Treadway October 16, 1925 - September 8, 2008 Richard V. Treadway, 82, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born October 16, 1925 in Monroe County, IN to the late William L. and Lois (Burris) Treadway. Richard served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, worked for Bryant Heating and Cooling for 19 years, was a fork lift driver, former barber, and was a driver for Barth Dental Labs for 9 years. He attended Highest Praise Church, Greenfield, loved to travel, read his Bible, and spending time with his wife and pets, Sweetie 2 and K.C. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Florence (Rose) Treadway of Greenfield; brother, Joseph Treadway of Hudson, NY; sister, Vivian Swafford of Bloomington, IN. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Ted Treadway; sister, Dorothy Duncan. A Celebration of Life will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Highest Praise Church. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown. Friends may call Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield.
