Richard E. Wiggins January 19, 1930 - May 26, 2013 Richard E. Wiggins, 83 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 Hancock Regional Hospice. He was born January 19, 1930 In Greenfield to the late Harvey and Daisy Mae (Milner) Wiggins. Richard was a 1949 graduate of Greenfield High School. He married Virginia Roberts on February 15, 1950. Richard was employed by Fisk Sanitation for several years and Millis Electric for 18 years. He also served as Fire Chief for the City of Greenfield from 1982 until 1984. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Wiggins of Greenfield, son; Thomas Wiggins of Greenfield, daughters; Merry Wiggins of Greenfield, Nancy Dice of Indianapolis, and Penny (Jeff) Johnson of Greenfield, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 4 pm 9pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. Services will be held 10 am, Friday, May 31 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
