Rickey Lynn McPherson Sr. January 25, 1952 - May 31, 2012 Rickey Lynn McPherson, Sr. age 60 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice, Greenfield. He was born January 25, 1952 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late John Albert Lee McPherson and Mary Ann (Stanley) McPherson-Adams. Rick attended Greenfield High School, served in the US Army and was a 36 year truck driver for Fisk Sanitation and later Republic Services. He was a former member of the V.F.W., Eagles, Greenfield Conservation Club and Greenfield American Legion Post 101. He served with Emergency Management and enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife Tami (Tweedy) McPherson of Greenfield, whom he married on Jan. 27, 1990, sons, Rickey Lynn McPherson, Jr. of Greenfield, Kenneth Marshall Barngrover of Greenfield, Brandon Glen Barngrover of Wilkinson, Kameron Philip McPherson of Greenfield, daughter, Carrie Ann McPherson of Greenfield, brother, Royce "Lurch" McPherson of Greenfield, sisters, Patricia Hendren of Greenfield, Marsha Medlin- Powell of Indianapolis, Phyllis Tanner, Sue Ann Crabtree, Trina Sweezy, Tonya Hancock, Sylvia Settles, Jackie Prange all of Greenfield, 9 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Casey Adams, brothers, Edgar "Perk", Terry Lee, Richard, sisters, Debra Irene McPherson and Janet Sue McPherson. Friends may call Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday June 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. The family requests that friends and family come casually dressed for the visitation and funeral service.
