Robert Allen Cottrell

Robert "Allen" Cottrell, age 50 of Greenfield, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. Born on January 18, 1967 in Indianapolis to the late Edward & Mary (Riddle) Cottrell. Allen graduated from John Marshall High School in 1985 and would spend his career working for General Motors Company at the Ft. Wayne Assembly Plant on the production line. He married the love of his life, Peggy Litteral on November 8, 1991. Allen enjoyed guns and was a proud member of the N.R.A. He also enjoyed Nascar racing, but most of all spending time with his family & grandchildren. Surviving Allen is his wife, Peggy Cottrell of Greenfield; son, Joshua (Katie) Mullins of Greenfield; daughter, Katlyn (James) Scaggs of Greenfield; brothers, Edward (Lyla) Cottrell of Hope, IN; C. Richard (Marjorie) Cottrell of Indianapolis; sister, Joni (James) Cutshaw of Greenfield; grandchildren, Braylon; Colston; Clayton Mullins; Harper Scaggs; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and best friends, Stan & Karen Garner. Preceding Allen in death are his parents mentioned above; and sister, Cynthia Moffitt. Visitation for Allen will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, August 24, 2017 with Eddie Cottrell officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
