Robert Wayne Hogan, 76, Greenfield, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. Wayne was born on October 7, 1948, in Henderson, KY, to James Sigler and Dorothy Ethel (Stone) Hogan. As an Army man, he served in Vietnam.
Wayne loved his family to the fullest and relished every minute spent with them. His friends were equally important as he spent countless hours socializing with them. Wayne loved music and fishing. He was a history buff. And his laughter will not be forgotten. He was a Golden Glove boxer. Wayne was also a member of the Greenfield VFW. He worked as a subcontractor in construction for 30 years. He grew up in the Faith Apostolic church.
Wayne is survived by his loving children: Kelly (Steve) Mars, John Hogan (Annette Kuklak), and Justin (Miki) Cole (Hogan); 6 grandchildren: Zach Mars, Jared Mars, Tyler Hogan, Jaycie Cole, Jagger Cole, and Jaxon Cole; 1 great-grandson, Landen Mars; brother, Larry Hogan; sister, Candace (Steve) Williams; nieces and nephews: Tina (Chad) Dadisman, Steve Hogan, Alex (Taylor) Kuntz, and Carter Kuntz; and beloved dog, Wilma.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and twin granddaughters, Josie and Cora Cole.
Stillinger Family Funeral Home is of assistance to the Hogan families. Visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Faith Apostolic Church, 70 Tyler Ave, Greenfield, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor John Reading. Burial will be in Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
