Robert Monroe Jennings

Robert Monroe Jennings, 50 years, a resident of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Community Hospital South, Indianapolis. He was born October 10, 1974, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Robert C. and Rebecca Ann (Childers) Jennings.

Robert retired in 2021 as the assistant chief engineer for the Hilton Garden Inn, Indianapolis Airport. His favorite pastime was fishing, but he also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, knitting, building model cars, cooking, baking and playing his favorite farming video game.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyon (Thomas) Jennings, children, Brittany Thomas, Lynnetta Sayers, Austin Chandler, Michael Smith, Toshia Duncan, grandchildren, Elizabeth Thomas, Isabella Nava and Joe Highbaugh.

Visitation will be 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2025, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington Street, Cumberland, IN 46229. Funeral service will follow 12:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
