Robert L Low, age 88, of Greenfield passed away, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Greenfield Healthcare Center. He was born February 29, 1932 in rural Hancock County to the late Lonnie B. and Opal K. (Pearson) Low. Bob was a graduate of Charlottesville High School. He married Mary Imogene (Morgan) in 1951. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Bronze Service Star. Bob returned to Hancock County where he and Imogene raised their family. Prior to his retirement Bob was a foreman for Delco Remy. Bob loved to farm and did so for many years. He was a former member of the American Legion and a long-time member of Eden United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sons, Mike (Deby) Low, and Steve Low; brother, Charles (Carol) Low; sister, Betty Jackson; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; daughter, Michelle Low; and brothers, Gerald Low and Dale Low. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military honors provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Memorial contributions in honor of Bob may be sent to Eden UMC, 2122 East Eden Road, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Masks and social distancing will be required during visitation and service.
