Robert Michael Oliver

Robert Michael Oliver, 80, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1945, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Robert H. and Elaine (Walker) Oliver.

Mike graduated from Bosse High School and later went to the University of Evansville, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing. After, he went on to become a Terminal Manager for Overland Transport, retiring from the industry in 2007. In his free time, Mike enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. Baseball was especially important to him. He played baseball for the University of Evansville and served as the freshman baseball coach at Greenfield-Central High School. He was a longtime fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Patricia A. Oliver, whom he married on February 8, 1969; his son, Brent (Kristen Lee-Oliver); grandsons, Adam and Aaron Lee.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Mecia Shouse.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Entombment will immediately follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
