Robert Eugene Reynolds

Robert (Bob) Eugene Reynolds, 87, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on October 12, 2024, surrounded by family. Robert was born February 9, 1937, in Albany, Indiana, the son of Howard and Jessie Reynolds. He married Judy Keller on July 4, 1959, and enjoyed 65 years of marriage. With Judy he raised 3 children and helped raise two of his grandchildren.

Robert graduated from high school in 1955, playing basketball and baseball for the Yorktown Tigers. He studied at Earlham College on scholarship for 3 years before being drafted to serve in Korea. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of Delaware Lodge No. 46 for over 50 years. Over the course of his professional life, Robert worked in factory management and delivery driving, enjoying his work until late in life. He enjoyed hunting and sports, stopping by the donut shop to grab a coffee, and telling jokes. A faithful Christian, Robert now goes on to enjoy a perfect rest with his God while his legacy of gentleness and kindness remains.

Remaining to cherish Robert's memory are his wife, Judy Reynolds; children, Beth (Andrew) Marsh, Chris Lavy, and Daniel Reynolds; grandson, Brandon (Lauren) Lavy; great-grandson, Jude Lavy; and brother, John Morris.

Preceding Robert in death are his parents, brothers and sisters, and granddaughter, Isabelle Reynolds.

Visitation will be held October 20, 2024, at 12:30-2:30pm at the Greenfield Church of Christ (1380 S. State Street, Greenfield, Indiana). A memorial service will follow at 2:30pm with his grandson, Brandon Lavy officiating. Interment will occur at Hawk Cemetery in Yorktown, Indiana at a later date. Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is of assistance to the Reynolds family.
