Robert Joseph Weller March 13, 1931 - September 12, 2010 Robert Joseph Weller, 79, a resident of New Palestine, IN passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Sugar Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation, Greenfield. He was born March 13, 1931 in Covington, Kentucky. Robert was a graduate of Covington Latin, graduate of Villa Madonna College, served in the U.S. Navy, retired after 30 years as an Electrical Engineer and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield. He is survived by sons, Jerome (Beverly) Weller of Cincinnati, OH, Dr. Donald (Mary) Weller of Maysville, Kentucky, Jeffery (Eva) Weller of McAllen, Texas, Robert (Cindy) Weller of New Palestine, IN; daughters, Joyce (Rick) Walz of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kathleen (Doug) Meece of KY, Lezli (Don) Liermann of Cincinnati, OH, Robin (Greg) Robinson of Blacklick, OH; Amy Weller of New Palestine; 18 grandchildren; Sister Loretta Weller, Sister of Charity of Nazareth; sister, Margaret Schomaker of Newport, KY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois (Meyers) Weller; second wife, Ann (Stadtmiller) Weller; son, William E. Weller; sister, Mary Clare Weller; brother, Norbert J. Weller. Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2010 St. Michaels Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd. Greenfield, IN 46140. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Elizabeth Seton Haiti Mission or the American Cancer Society.
