Robert E. Wells August 11, 1934 - March 25, 2013 Robert E. Wells, age 78, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1934 in Avon, IN to the late Maurice and Doris (George) Wells. Robert graduated from Avon High School in 1952, and attended Butler University for two years. He owned and operated Wells Nursery and Greenhouses. Robert served in the U.S Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his loving spouse, Lenora (Smith) Wells of Greenfield, sons; Mike Wells of Greenfield, Kent (Trudy) Wells of Dyer, Ind., daughter, Kathy (Kurt) Hostetler of Greenfield, grandchildren, Brian, Aaron, Matthew, Sarah, Adam, Dustin Wells, and great granddaughter, Gracie Wells. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, son, Gary Wells, and brother, Maurice Wells Jr. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, March 29, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Support the flower industry, send flowers.
