Robert F. Bob Welter

Bob graduated from Maxwell High School and would enlist in the U.S. Airforce. Bob married the love of his life, Patricia "Patty" Welter on October 9, 1970. He spent his career working at both General Motors & Delco-Remy where he was known as the Delco-Remy Batman by all his co-workers. Bob enjoyed everything outdoors, from hunting, fishing and everything in between. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Left to cherish Bobs memory is his wife, Patty Welter of Greenfield; son, Robert L. Welter of Plainfield; daughters, Jennifer (Jose Gonzalez) Caldwell of Fortville; Jody Craft of Greenfield; Liberty (Brian) Smith of Fishers; sisters, Beth (Dave) Phelps of Greenfield; Nancy Robinson of California; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceding Bob in death are his parents mentioned above; brother, William Welter, and grandson, Zane Halverson. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00pm with Pastor Randall Parker from Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, 621 S. State St, Greenfield, IN 46140.
