Roger Alan Rockey

Roger Alan Rockey, 64, Beech Grove, passed away on December 7, 2023. Roger was born on August 10, 1959, in Greenfield, to Gerald E. and Dorothy L. (Phares) Rockey. He is a 1977 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.

Roger worked in different capacities at IU Health for 18 years prior to retirement on June 30, 2022. He was an avid bowler and avid golfer and loved bicycling. He loved his family and family time, the grandkids, and being around friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle (Dausch) Rockey; children: Kyle (Megan) Rockey, Ryan (Amy) Rockey, Heather "Nikki" (Mike) Smith, and Scott (Chelsy) Hicks; grandchildren: Caitlin, Grace, Ruthie, Shelby, Ryder, Cadence, Luke, and Kane; siblings: David Rockey, Tony (Julie) Rockey, and Diane (Dale) Linsley; mother-in-law, Pat Dausch; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Terrie McCormick; and sister-in-law, Gloria Rockey.
