Rolland Leonard Jack

Rolland Leonard Jack, 88, of Marion, Indiana, died at his residence on Friday, September 11, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Joseph and Cora (Cass) Jack.

Rolland graduated from Morton Memorial High School in 1958. Following high school, he briefly worked for Western Electric before beginning his career as a Line Operator at General Motors, where he worked for 13 years until his retirement. In his leisure time, Rolland was involved with New Life Christian Fellowship Church as well as Boy Scouts and The Eagle Scouts. He enjoyed fishing, Purdue basketball, Christmas gatherings with family, and cookouts. He was also an avid car enthusiast who collected remote-controlled cars and trucks, brownie cameras, and guns. In 2025, Rolland was the winner of the James Dean Ducktail Car Show, where he presented a white 1971 Lincoln Mark.

Rolland is survived by his daughters, Patty and Rebecca Jack, Kim Shane, and Teresa Cooper; son, Mark Jack; brother, Max Jack; sister, Carol Shelbourne; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, with one additional great-grandchild due in October; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above; wife, Marilyn Jack; daughter, Marla Turner; eight siblings; and two grandchildren, Andrew Jack and Deanna Oliver.

From 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Greenfield, Indiana.

He will sadly be missed by his best friend Butch in Greenfield, Indiana where he spent most days before moving to Marion, Indiana.
