Ronald S. Capen January 6, 1946 - January 25, 2012 Ronald S. Capen age 66, a resident of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice, Greenfield. He was born January 6, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Stanley A. and Retha M. (Spiegel) Capen. He was a graduate of Chesaning High School in Chesaning, MI and attended Michigan State for 2 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Baldor Motors, Indianapolis for 30 years as the vice president of sales and marketing, was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church and a member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (E.A.S.A.) where he served as their treasurer from 1997 to 2011. He enjoyed living in Florida, traveling, spending time with his family, grandchildren and going to sporting events. He is survived by his wife, Pat J. (Somers) Capen of Greenfield; sons, Scott (Emily) Capen of Greenfield, Andrew (Kate) Capen of Greenfield, Tim (Stephanie) Capen of Greenfield; daughter, Cindy (Mark) Richmond of Fortville; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Arlene Somers of Chapin, Michigan; sister-in-laws, Carolyn (Don) Folkes of Chapin, Michigan, Cheryl (Harry) Kaplan of Dyersburg, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 28, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield, with military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard. Family and friends may call Friday January 27, 2012 at 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to James T.
