Ronald O. "Ronnie Mac" McTernon June 8, 1948 - May 14, 2011
Ronald O. "Ronnie Mac" McTernon, 62, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Hancock Regional Hospital.
He was born June 8, 1948 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Langford and Betty J. (Hendrix) McTernon.
Ronnie served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, was a railroad engineer for Conrail and most recently was a truck driver for East Coast Leasing. He was a member of the Greenfield American Legion Post 119, an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Hunsucker) McTernon of Greenfield; son, Rodney and daughter-in-law, Jody McTernon of New Palestine; granddaughter, Mackenzie McTernon; brother, William Joseph Ayers; 3 nephews and 1 niece.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
