Ronald D. Tidrow, age 67 of McCordsville, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born August 28th, 1948 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Ernest and Alice (Spillman) Tidrow.
Ron graduated from Indiana University with his Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and spent his career working in the Mt. Vernon and Lawrence Township School Corporations. He married the love of his life, Susan Grabbe Stone on November 1st, 1985. Ron was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church for many years. He was also an avid sports fan but he especially loved baseball. He collected many baseball hats. Ron also loved to coach basketball teams at The Boys & Girls Club. He was known for replacing the "A" & "B" team names with the terms "Ketchup" & "Mustard." Ron was a fan of the Civil War and he greatly admired President Lincoln.
Surviving Ron is his wife, Susan Tidrow of McCordsville; sons, Patrick (Suzanne) Tidrow of Indianapolis; Tim (Jessica) Stone of McCordsville; Shawn (Tiffany) Tidrow of McCordsville; and Michael Tidrow of McCordsville; sisters, Jeannine (Bill) Wright of Greenwood; Jennifer (Randy) Kelly of Fishers; and his 9 grandchildren, Jonathan, Taylor, Lauren, Vanessa, Austin, Ashlynn, Jackson, Ayden, and Sophia.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held promptly at 11:11am at the funeral home on Thursday, August 11, 2016 with burial immediately following the service at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, 505 Bundy Ave, New Castle, Indiana.
