Ronnie L Barnett

Ronnie L. Barnett, age 74 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at St. Vincents Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born January 19, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late Ancle and Virginia (Ball) Barnett. Ronnie was a graduate of Hancock Central High School and was employed by RCA Thompson Consumer Electronics as well as the owner of Vine Street Gardens Nursery and Greenhouse. He served in the Unites States Navy, attended Bethel Baptist Church and was a 50-year member of the Eden Masonic Lodge. Ronnie loved to play in the dirt, working outdoors and growing flowers. He is survived by his wife; Alice (Shaw) Barnett of Greenfield, son; Ty (Rhonda) Barnett of New Palestine, brothers; Roy Barnett, Larry Barnett, Tommy Barnett-Harter, sister; Caroline Barnett, grandchildren; Amanda (Jay) Robbins, Robert (Jeremy) Tucker, Macy Barnett and great grandchildren; Dallas, Joel and Tyler. He is preceded in death by his parents, foster parents; Everett and Betty Wiese, daughter; Kari Bollig and brother; Jack Barnett. Friends may call 4-6 pm, Friday March 30, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. A Masonic Service will be held at 5:45pm. Memorial Service 6 pm at the funeral home with Military Rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
