Rose Ann Huffman

Rose Ann Huffman July 31, 1923 - August 12, 2009 Rose Ann Huffman, 86, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born July 31, 1923 in Morris, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Kunegunda (Fudala) Dembicki. Rose was a homemaker, worked for three years at the Riley Home in the gift shop and as a tour guide and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield. She was an excellent cook and an avid flower and vegetable gardener. She is survived by her husband, William A. Huffman of Greenfield; children, Karen (Joseph) Porter of Irving, TX; Elizabeth Farrar-McIntyre of Indianapolis and William (Cathleen) Huffman Jr. of Greenfield; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield with Father Severin Messick O.S.B. officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Michaels Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd. Greenfield, IN 46140.
