Rosemary C Melliere February 10, 1941 - January 19, 2015 Rosemary C. Melliere, 73, of Greenfield, died peacefully among family in Dublin, OH on Monday, January 19th following several courageous battles with cancer. Born February 10th, 1941, in Evansville, Illinois, Mrs. Melliere graduated from Sparta Township (Illinois) High School in 1959, married in 1961, and devoted her time to raising her three sons. She then worked for a number of years as a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Erwin in Greenfield. While cancer ultimately won the battle for her body, it failed to diminish the love she had for her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Melliere was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marcella Wiegard, and brother, Robert Wiegard. She is survived by her sister, Alice Reinhardt of Belleville, IL; her sons Scott (Emily) Melliere of Charles City, IA; Mike (Elaine) Melliere of Dublin, OH; and Gary (Kim) Melliere of Medina, OH; and eight grandchildren Michael, Mary, Shelby, Stephanie, John, Adam, Peter, and Aly. Visitation will be held at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN, on Friday, January 23rd from 4-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield, at 10am on Saturday followed by a burial at Washington Park East Cemetery in Cumberland.
