Roy Daulton Nunn

Roy Daulton Nunn, age 89 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on March 13, 1927, in Newport, Arkansas to the late Elbert Russel and Ella (Cady) Nunn. Roy was enlisted as a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy from 1945 until 1947 during WWII. He married the love of his life Inez on April 22, 1950. Roy spent his life working in the construction industry for many years. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield. Roy loved working on lawn mowers and tending to his Tomato Garden. Surviving Roy are his daughters, Regina Hutter of Greenfield; sons, Gary Nunn and Dewayne Nunn both of Greenfield. 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents listed above; wife Inez, who passed away in 2011; daughter, Diane Crawford; sisters, Mina Staggs and Gertrude Williams; and brothers, Robert, Fred and Edward Nunn. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, August 5, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday at the funeral home with Dr. Randall Parker from Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial with military honors presented by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard will immediately follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, 9350 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield.
