Roy Zeiss

Roy Zeiss October 17, 1933 - November 2, 2012 Roy J Zeiss, 79 of Fortville passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at home. He was born October 17, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Roy A. and Ruth (Riddle) Zeiss. Roy was a graduate of Beaumont High School, St. Louis and served his country in the United States Navy. Roy retired from General Motors-Indianapolis where he worked for many years as an accountant. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and enjoyed WWII history. Mr. Zeiss is survived by his wife, Christine (Palmero) Zeiss of Fortville, son, Jeffery Zeiss of Charlottesville, daughters Valerie Drabant of Greenfield and Stephanie (Rick) Kaufman of Needham, MA., and three grandchildren; Alexander and Zachary Drabant and Lia Kaufman; three brothers and two sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Eden Cemetery, North State Road 9, Eden, IN. with Pastor Sally Dickerson officiating.
