Russell H. Burton

Russell H. Burton, of Greenfield joined the heavenly hosts on Tuesday, December 20, 2017. Russell was born January 25, 1937 in Brownsville, PA to Burman and Bertha Burton. He was retired from Hostess as a route sales and delivery driver. Russell was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an active participant in Awana Childrens Ministry and created encouragement and care packages for college students. Russell was a devoted father and grandfather who loved and was loved deeply by his family. He is survived by five children; Edith Carol (Moe), Betty Lou, Cheryl, Tom and Jerry; four grandchildren; Eric (Beth), Carl Andy, Erin (Justin), Bradley and two great grandchildren; Sophie and Joshua. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Kinion officiating. Friends may call 11:00 am until the time of Service. He will be buried next to his late wife, Thelma "Irish" Burton at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis immediately following the service.
