Russell O. Patterson February 1, 1922 - January 17, 2014 Russell O. Patterson, 91, of Greenfield, passed away Friday January 17, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on February 1, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Gerney M. and Mary C. (Burns) Patterson. Russell was a graduate of Southport High School, and work at a machinist all his life, working for Lucas Harold Naval Avionics 14 years, International Harvester 2 years and Euclid Machine for 24 years. Russell made Greenfield his home for over 50 years. He was a member of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of Scottish Rites of Indianapolis and a member of the Hancock Masonic Lodge # 101 in Greenfield. Surviving relatives include, son, Eugene (Phyllis) Patterson of Greenfield, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sisters, Loretta Arens, Vera Thompson, Mamie Matkins, all of Indianapolis, brother Donnie Patterson of Indianapolis. Russell is preceded in death by his wife Betty May (Doberstein) Patterson, daughter, LaVon Campbell, parents, brother, August Patterson, sister, Hattie Prosser, brother, Marlin Patterson. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 25, 2014 at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel 1780 West Main Street Greenfield, Indiana 46140 with Masonic Rites at 12:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:45 on Saturday January 25, 2014 at the funeral home.
