Ruth B. Apple May 5, 1922 - November 7, 2013 Ruth B. (Maxwell) Apple 91 of Charlottesville passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Country Home Health Care, Charlottlesville. She was born May 5, 1922 in Red Key, IND. to the late Ernest and Eva (Roberts) Maxwell. Ruth was a graduate of Maxwell High School. On June 14, 1942 she married Floyd E. Apple and they enjoyed almost 60 years of marriage prior to Floyds death on February 28, 2002. She retired from Eli Lilly after 22 years of service. Ruth was a member of Charlottesville United Methodist Church and belonged to the Charlottesville Methodist Womens Society. Ruth is survived by son; Johnnie (Pat) Apple of Greenfield, daughter; Suzanne (Dave Franklin) Smith of Wilkinson, brother; Larry (Ike) Maxwell, sister; Lela Mae Maxwell, daughter-in-law Diane Apple of Wilkinson, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd in 2002, son; Tom Apple of Wilkinson in 2004, brothers; Ennis (Scoot) Maxwell, Carl (Bus) Maxwell, Lawrence (Jay) Maxwell, Kenneth (Lee) Maxwell, Donald (Don) Maxwell, William (Bill) Maxwell, Robert (Bob) Maxwell, Paul (Duke) Maxwell and sister; Eileen Bradley. Friends may call Monday, November 11, 2013 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Services will be held 10 am, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the funeral home with burial immediately following at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson.
