Ruth E. Gratter November 5, 1916 - April 6, 2007 Ruth E. Gratter, 90, of Greenfield, formerly of Buffalo passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 at Regency Place, Greenfield. She was born November 5, 1916 in Hancock County to the late Charles and Sarah (Ward) Gambrel. She graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1935, was a former Girl Scout Leader, attended Charlottesville Christian Church and was a member of Greenfield Friends Church. She is survived by daughters, Frances Jean Golder of Corpus Christi, TX, Sherry Ann Morgan of Greenfield; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by twin sister, Ruby Gambrel; brothers, Floyd and John Gambrel. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 11, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home.
