Ruth Jean Layne

Ruth Jean Layne March 8, 1925 - March 31, 2007 R. Jean Layne, 82, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Regency Place, Greenfield. She was born March 8, 1925 to the late Ersul and Velma (Holbert) Gregory. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion of Indianapolis. She is survived by sons, Herbert (Sandra Lee) Rose in Syracuse, NY, Gregory A. (Christie) Layne of Indianapolis; daughter, Caroline Nichols of Greencastle; brother, William Gregory of Wasilla, AK; sister, Elma Allison of India Atlantic, FL; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Gregory and June Clark. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
