Ruth D. Rihm

Ruth D. Rihm, 90 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Saturday July 4, 2015 at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, IN. She was born November 22, 1924 in Indianapolis, Ind. to the late John T. & Cecilia C. (Weingartner) Dwyer. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Greenfield, Psi Iota Xi Auxiliary, Womans Association of the Greenfield Country Club, homemaker, volunteer for Hancock Regional Hospital among other organizations, an avid golfer, bridge player and reader. She is survived by her husband Dorvin F. Rihm of Greenfield, whom she married on May 30, 1947, son, Daniel D. (Sheila) Rihm of Avon, daughter, Nancy A. (Gene) Leffler of Franklin, 3 grandchildren, Matt Bennett, Katie Day, Chris Rihm, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Julia Dwyer and Mary VanCleave. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St Michael Catholic Church, Greenfield with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruths memory to the Donors favorite charity.
