Ruth Van Zee

Ruth "June" Van Zee June 2, 1928 - July 29, 2011 Ruth "June" Van Zee age 83, of Noblesville, Ind. passed away Friday July 29, 2011 at St. Vincents Hospice, Indianapolis. She was born June 2, 1928 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to the late Otto & Edna (Grandia) Brummel. She graduated from Pella High School in 1946 and was a salesperson for various retail stores. She was a member of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis, was an avid Bridge player and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband C. H. "Van" Van Zee whom she married on March 21, 1947, sons, Don Van Zee of Indianapolis, Dave Van Zee of Bloomington, Ind., sister, Edith Vander Linden of Freemont, Iowa, 4 grandchildren, Kim Hellyer, Scott Van Zee, Chrissi Wilson, Julie Van Zee and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be Friday, August 5, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery in Leighton, Iowa. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, IN. Memorial Contribution may be sent to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 1605 E. 106th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46280 or the donors favorite charity.
