Ruth Charlene (Webb) Wilson

Ruth Charlene Webb Wilson age 90 of New Palestine, IN, passed away August 5, 2025, at Morristown Manor, Morristown, IN. Charlene was born in Carthage, IN, September 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Velma Mary (Watson) Webb.

Charlene graduated from New Palestine High School in 1952.

On June 20, 1954, Charlene married her husband and high school sweetheart of 71 years, Philip A. Wilson of New Palestine, IN.

From this union, three children were born; Diane (Jim) Dawson, Teresa (Dan) Fay, and Keith (Sheryl) Wilson. Also, five grandchildren; Joe Ell, Jonathon (Jessica) Wilson, Lauren Wilson, Philip Falco and Nick Fay were added to her family.

Charlene's parents, two sisters Janet Kay Webb Esarey (Robert), Mary Patricia Webb (Charles) Draper and several relatives preceded her in death.

Charlene was a wonderful Daughter; Wife; Mother; Grandmother; and friend.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Phil of 71 years; her family and her friends.

Charlene was a faithful member of New Palestine United Methodist Church for over 70 years where she held the secretarial position for 21 years. She also provided secretarial services at Warner Brothers Pictures Distribution Center, Manpower, RCA Records and Naval Avionics, all of Indianapolis, IN.

Charlene was also a member of the Mid Hoosier Model 'A' Club.

Arrangements are being handled by Stillinger Family Funeral Home- Hendryx New Palestine Chapel, 19 E. Main Street, New Palestine, IN. Calling will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, with the funeral service officiated by Reverend Anthony Stone to be held on the same day from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Burial will follow the service at New Palestine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts may be made to New Palestine United Methodist Church, The American Heart Association, or the Donor's favorite charity in Charlene's name.
