Sandra Kay (Elliott) Bishop

Sandra Kay (Elliott) Bishop, 79, Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Beech Grove Meadows. She was born on April 15, 1943, in Shelbyville, IN, to Anna Elliott. She married her love, David William Bishop, on February 29, 1968. Sandra was a tremendously loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Sandra was employed with Marsh Supermarkets for 25 years as a cashier in the Indianapolis area. She loved to shop. She collected angels. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved spending the holidays with them. Sandra is survived by her loving children, Anthony (Tina) Elliott and Lisa Tutrow; 13 grandchildren, including 2 that she and David raised: Amanda Bishop and Daniel Bishop; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna; husband, David of 53 years; 2 daughters, Vicki Bishop and Deborah Bishop; and granddaughter, Kristie Butler. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus, IN.
