Sandra K. Jennings December 12, 1942 - September 26, 2014 Sandra K. Jennings, age 71 of Elberta, AL., formerly of Greenfield passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at her home. She was born December 12, 1942 to the late Monroe and Shirley Parnell. Sandra was a nursing assistant for Community Hospital East for 23 years prior to her retirement. She was active in her community and involved in the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 119 and served as the membership chair, she also served as treasurer in 1992 and president in 1993 for La Societe de Femmes Cabane 1415 in Greenfield. Sandra was a regular donor to the ASPCA and the Gulf Shores, Alabama Zoo. She is survived by daughter, Diana (Alan) Bryant of Elberta, AL, sisters, Diane Parnell and Kathy Parnell both of Indianapolis, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, husband, William F. Jennings; sons, William M. Jennings, David C. Jennings, Dale G. Jennings, Michael Blocher and daughter, Tina Blocher. Friends may call from 5-8 pm, Thursday October 2, 2014 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service will be 12 pm, Friday October 3rd at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
