Sarah J Bogardus

Sarah J Bogardus, age 80, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on December 21, 2019 at Golden Living Brandywine in Greenfield. She was born on July 9, 1939, in Greensburg, IN to the late William Deiwert & Jessie Deiwert. Sarah graduated from Clarksburg High School. She married the love of her life, Gerald Bogardus, on June 21, 1974. Sarah was a member of Park Chapel in Greenfield. She spent her career as an accountant with Pacvan Inc and over 23 years with Borden Dairy. Sarah enjoyed bible studies, word puzzles and playing cards wt the neighbor ladies. It was said she was a social butterfly, and everyone loved her. She was very active in her church until her health would not allow it any longer. But, more than any of this, she enjoyed spending time with her precious family who she loved dearly. Left to cherish are her children; Deborah Jones & Anthony Perkins, grandson; Ryan Jones, siblings; Mabel Canfield & William (Iris) Deiwert Jr. Sarah is proceeded in death by her parents and husband listed above, as well as, siblings; Donald, John & Gale Deiwert Visitation for Sarah will be from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday December 27, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Friday with Dave Woods from Park Chapel officiating. Burial will immediately follow the Funeral Service at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
