Scott William Horning

Scott William Horning, Greenfield, passed away at the untimely age of 43, Monday, February 22, 2021 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Hospice. Scott was born on January 21, 1978 in Indianapolis to Charles "Bill" and Joyce Ann (Baker) Horning. Scott is a 1996 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. Scott was a Foreman for his family's business, Horning Landscaping, in McCordsville. He was the ultimate sports fan, both in participation and spectating, but deeply rooted on the teams of Notre Dame, Colts, Pacers, and Cincinnati Reds. Scott loved to fish, cook, and spend time at his favorite family cabin. He is survived by his faithful and loving companion of 24 years, Crystal Marie Jackson; their children: Andrew Thomas Horning and Megan Marie Horning; parents, Bill and Joyce Horning; sisters: Michelle D. (John) Saxon and Valerie Ann Horning; parents-in-law, Charles and Cindy M. Parks; brother-in-law, Bryan (Heidi) Parks; nieces: Brianna Saxon and Abigail Saxon; and nephews: Jacob Jaspe and Donovan Parks. The Horning family would like to thank Suburban Home Health Care as well as Suburban Hospice for the wonderful care, guidance, and love shown to them over the previous few months of Scott's illness. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield.
