Shane Edward Tweedy, 41, Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Shane was born on January 6, 1983, in Greenfield, to Rick E. and Loree A. (Jack) Tweedy. He is a 2002 graduate of Evansville High School, Wisconsin.
Shane was an electrician in the construction industry. He was a proud father of two sons, a goofy brother to two siblings, and an honorable son to two wonderful parents. Shane loved to fish, hunt, race, golf, and partake in sports. He loved spending time with his children and family and beamed when he took on the role of uncle to his nieces and nephews. The Boys & Girls Club was also important to Shane. Shane was a member of Brandywine Church.
Shane is survived by his loving sons, Jasen Tweedy and Jaxen Tweedy; loving parents, Rick and Loree Tweedy; brother, Brandon (Carley) Tweedy; sister, Kyra (Zach) Bottomley; grandmother, Jeanette Tweedy; aunts, uncles, cousins; nieces and nephews: Braylee Tweedy, Blakely Tweedy, Bristol Tweedy, and Beckett Bottomley; girlfriend, Jenna Brabham; and many friends.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents: Darlene Redmon, Richard Jack, Larry Redmon, and Paul Tweedy; twin nephews, Camden Bottomley and Creighton Bottomley; uncle, Donnie Tweedy; and best friend and namesake for his son and nephew, Jason Creighton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Shane will be buried in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Carthage, next to his grandfather. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morristown Boys & Girls Club and/or the American Heart Association.
