Shelby Jean Spears

Shelby Spears, 67, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Greenfield HealthCare Center. She was born on August 22, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Hubert and Virginia (Keller) Spears.

Shelby had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. She loved animals and always had a companion by her side. She enjoyed music, especially country rock, and loved watching Lifetime, true crime, and mystery shows. She enjoyed visiting theme parks like Kings Island and Six Flags, as well as going to Indiana Beach every summer.

She is survived by her sisters, Glenda Litteral and Tammy Nicholas; nephews, Darrell (Shannon) Litteral, Darrin (Marcie) Litteral, Kevin (Susie) Litteral, Pat (Lacey) Litteral, Jason (Amanda) Litteral, Cody and Logan Wetzel; niece, Kim Litteral.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two brothers-in-law, Darrell Litteral and Wade Nicholas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Final resting place will be determined by the family.
