Sherri Lynn Brown-Shaw

Sherri Lynn Brown-Shaw, 62, Greenfield, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, with her loving family by her side. Sherri was born on July 4, 1962, in Greenfield, to the late Floyd Eugene and Judith Diane (Henry) Brown. She proudly graduated from Indiana Business College with an associate's degree. Sherri married Norman Joseph Shaw on May 7, 2016.

Sherri was extremely feisty, a true spitfire, held no tongue, and loved to joke around. She always had fun with family, friends, and strangers. Speaking of strangers….she knew none. She would speak to anyone about anything. She was a true social butterfly! Sherri was very artistic. When she was creative, she was happy; and when she was happy, she was creative. She loved crafts, loved to sing and dance, enjoyed traveling with Joe to different destinations, and loved animals, especially pandas and cardinals. But above all, Sherri loved her family to the fullest. She never missed an opportunity to love on them.

Sherri is survived by her loving husband, Joe of 8 years; their children: Zach Reese, Shalinda Houston (Tommy Mills), Dusti Robertson (Justin Massey), Jane Gant, Katrina Shaw (Tonia Laymon), and Jennifer (Marc) Hewitt; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is of assistance to the Brown and Shaw families during their loss. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at  Greenfield's VFW.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
