Shirley D Rice May 25, 1937 - September 16, 2012 Shirley D. Rice, 75, of Greenfield went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 16, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 25, 1937 in Robbins, Tn., the daughter of the late Theodore and Mabel (Hall) Barnette. Shirley was a graduate of Arsenal Tec. High School in Indianapolis, she was a waitress most of her life and loved to gamble. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Thomas) Edwards of Greenfield, grandchildren, Bailey, Andy, Darrin and Jeff, great-grandchildren, Thomas and Dennis, brother, David (Janet) Barnette of Nashville, sister, Mary Ann Zike. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Wilda June Perkinson. Private Services was held by her family and a gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday September 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at her home.
