Stephen E. Keffer January 31, 1937 - March 19, 2007 Stephen E. Keffer, 70, of Willow Branch, passed away Monday March 19, 2007 at his residence. He was born January 31, 1937 in Anderson, IN to Marion Keffer and Virginia L. (Hecter) McKim. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabee and retired in 1993 from Rigor/Naval Avionics where he had been a truck driver. He was a member of Browns chapel and enjoyed motorcycles, stamp collecting, clocks, camping and being with his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother of Indianapolis; wife, Diane M. (Richardson) Keffer, of Willow Branch, whom he married April 23, 1960; daughters, Mary Connors of Fayettville, NC, Stephanie Daugherty of Morristown, Annette Keffer of Fayettville, NC, Virginia Hatcher of Warsaw, Penny Cole, Amy Legler both of Greenfield; brother, John McKim of Harpersferry, WV; 20 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday March 21, 2007 at Browns Chapel with Rev. Dan Harman and Rev. Lloyd Vanmeters officiating.
