Steve Edward Barrett

Steve Edward Barrett May 9, 1949 - September 28, 2014 Steven E. Barrett, age 65 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the V.A. Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born May 9, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Fred L. and Norma E. (Snodgrass) Barrett. Steve was a 1968 graduate of Hancock Central High School. He served as Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp after high school. He married Kathy Barrett on February 22, 1969. Steven was also a member of the 135 Teamsters Union, The American Legion and the N.R.A. He retired in 2005 from the Pepsi Corporation after 37 years of employment. He is survived by wife, Kathy of Greenfield, sons, Steve E. Barrett, Jr. of Indianapolis, David A. Barrett of Greenfield and sister Joyce (Ken) Rusie of Indianapolis. Steven is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert Barrett and David Barrett and sister Mary Propes. Friends may call Saturday, October 4, from 11 am 1 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
